American Heritage Life Insurance Company (American Heritage Life®) was founded in 1956 in Jacksonville, FL and has expanded to a national presence. The company is licensed to conduct business in 49 states, Puerto Rico, the District of Columbia, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. In October 1999, American Heritage Life was acquired by The Allstate Corporation and now uses the marketing name of Allstate Benefits. All products are underwritten by American Heritage Life, a subsidiary of The Allstate Corporation. Our home office is located in Jacksonville, Florida.

Community Involvement

The Allstate Foundation has been bringing out the good in millions of lives. This belief has been at the core of The Allstate Foundation for more than 60 years. Our agency owners, employees and leaders are passionate about inspiring change; and we’ve changed millions of lives in the process.

Our work takes many forms, but always follows the path to greatest impact. We lead national programs, provide grants, create meaningful partnerships, and rally teams to support safer lives and stronger communities. The Allstate Foundation championed two signature causes: financially empowering domestic abuse survivors and youth empowerment.

Since 1952, we have invested more than $400 million in funding across the country to address key social issues. While we recognize the impact Allstate’s resources and reputation bring, we know our greatest strength lies in our many Good Hands working from their hearts.

The 2016 Allstate Giving Campaign raised $7.1 million for more than 8,800 non-profit organizations--the highest annual results since 2010--meaning Allstaters were able to do even more for their local communities and make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
